Bradley Steppig, CISSP, AMBCI, MCSE, MCP+I, CNE, A+
Owner & President

Brad is founder and President of CenterLine Business and CenterLine Technologies. Brad's primary role is to be a Strategic Technology Advocate for CenterLine clients. He provides CenterLine clients with strategic IT consulting services that focus on using technology to increase profits. This is achieved by developing effective technology plans, proactive project management, and teaching clients how to make smarter technology decisions.

In addition, he provides clients with a unique business insight and unbiased perspective. Clients look to Brad for assistance with improving their market positioning, enhancing business processes, and making vendors accountable.

Brad also delivers certified Information Security risk mitigation services, including designing, assessing, and testing existing and proposed information security implementations.

Brad is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a certified Associate Member of the Business Continuity Institute (AMBCI), Microsoft-Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft-Certified Professional + Internet (MCP+I), Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) and A+ certified. He is also a member of the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners (IAMCP), and the St. Louis Chapters of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) and Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).

Before founding the CenterLine companies, Brad owned a technology fulfillment company and then worked with BKD, LLP, a national top 10 accounting firm, to assist with the development their firm-wide technology consulting and data security group.  He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri.


Chris Johnson
Sales and Marketing Director

Chris is the Sales and Marketing Director of CenterLine Business and Centerline Technologies. Chris’s primary responsibilities are Business Development and Account Management in both the Public and Private sectors of CenterLine’s service offerings. In addition to those areas of responsibilities, Chris is tasked with developing effective product and service presentations for key customer and vendor partnerships.

Chris has more than 15 years of demonstrated success in the Information Technology verticals, including strategic marketing campaigns geared towards Fortune 1000 organizations in the US.

Prior to joining CenterLine Business and CenterLine Technologies, Chris was the lead Sales and Marketing Manager for a national Information Technology consulting firm.
Chris is a graduate of Maryville University in St. Louis, MO.



Amy Schmeding, AAS – Business Management
Administrative Services Manager

Amy is the CenterLine Administrative Services Manager. She takes care of the day-to-day operations at the office, including: client communications, proposal and quote preparation, vendor management, and internal accounting. Amy also provides backup support for CenterLine consultants in the field.

Amy has worked with Brad for a total of eleven years. She worked three years as the Office Manager of a previous business owned by Brad until it was sold in 2000. She then took a job as a Form Specialist with General American/MetLife. Not long after CenterLine split from BKD in 2003, she quit her MetLife job to work with Brad again.

Amy is a key component in CenterLine's business model. She has an Associate's Degree in Applied Science – Business Management, and is adding to her business knowledge by pursuing Accounting Management Certificate at Southwestern Illinois College.


Bryan Roy, CEH, CCNA, Network+, A+
Strategic Technology Manager

Bryan manages many of the day-to-day CenterLine client relationships and Technology Specialists’ duties.  He is responsible for ensuring CenterLine services meet the highest quality standards and all client issues are addressed using appropriate urgency.

Bryan has experience providing network communication services with Fortune 500 companies, as well as small and mid-sized businesses.  He has managed technicians, provided hands-on support, and assisted with the development of strategic plans for clients of all sizes.

Bryan also utilizes his training and experience to offer CenterLine clients network communication solutions, data security monitoring, and network intrusion testing services.  In addition, he assists with designing, implementing, and supporting Wide Area Networks, as well as providing Local Area Network design and support.

He is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and is Network+ and A+ certified.



Kevin White, MCP

Technology Specialist


Kevin supports business critical technology implementations at CenterLine clients.  He assists clients with network support, software and hardware troubleshooting, and communication solutions.

Before joining CenterLine, Kevin worked 11 years with a technology support company, servicing clients in 10 Missouri counties.  Kevin’s ability to provide effective solutions made him the “go-to” guy.

Kevin is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), and is currently in the process of attaining his Microsoft-Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification.



Kurt Bessen, MCSE 2003, Network +, A+
Technology Specialist

Kurt specializes in computer networking and application integration services.  This includes network configuration design and troubleshooting, hardware and software support, network administration, Internet connectivity, Wide Area Networking, VPN, and Firewall configuration. Kurt is very resourceful and excels at taking care of client needs. 

During his 10 years of professional experience, Kurt has gained extensive experience and expertise.  He has provided 2nd level help desk technology support for a major worldwide energy company, he was the IT Manager at a multi-site law firm, and he ovided various computer networking solutions to area small businesses while employed at a St. Louis based technology consulting company.

Kurt is currently a Microsoft-Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) 2003, as well as Network+ and A+ certified.
